TABLE TOP
Project type
Feature film · Ensemble workplace comedy · In development
On a commercial shoot in the 1980s, one perfect product shot becomes an all-day ordeal as six crew members juggle clashing egos, impossible expectations and the absurd business of selling a thick pink drink. TABLE TOP is a zany ensemble workplace comedy in the vein of The Office, based on Rob Ackerman’s play Tabletop.
Divine Write Pictures has optioned the film rights to the play. The stage production received a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Ensemble Performance.
