Based on the short film Catharsis, this limited series, BLOOD ON THE DOOR takes place in New York City during the aftermath of a string of high-profile police shootings and acquittals. Two Black mothers, both mourning the killings of their sons at the hands of police, turn to vengeance as their only means of justice. Their actions send chills throughout the law-enforcement and the justice systems, making them heroes to some and villains to others as authorities desperately try to figure out their identity.

The irony of this story is that,with all of the talk in Hollywood about diverse and authentic storytelling, the industry has yet to present a complex revenge tale that actually communicates the anger and frustration Black Americans experience with each viral video of violent conduct by those in law-enforcement who do not serve and protect with honor.
