THE SAVIOR & THE SAMARITAN

This modern day examination of the Biblical parable of The Good Samaritan finds two very different people at a moment of crisis and in need of intervention. One, a wealthy Wall St. investor is moments away from taking his own life, but changes his plan in order to intervene on behalf of the other, a prostitute being abused by her pimp.

Ripe with symbolism, the film juxtaposes biblical allegory against the gritty language and texture of New York City, while raising questions about the complexity of faith as well as notions of 'good and evil' or 'right and wrong'.

Genre: Drama
Rated R for violence and strong language.
